Hotel Pelourinho
At the Hotel Pelourinho, we are proud to participate in one of the most important architectural areas of Brazil, cited as part of the national historic patrimony and named by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site: the Pelourinho! <br> The Hotel is historically known for inspiring writers, artists, filmmakers, TV producers and people engaged in arts and humanities. In the past, the Hotel has housed student communities, and it was here that Jorge Amado lived and wrote his novel "Suor". An original colonial building, Hotel Pelourinho is located in Salvador's Upper City close to many important historic tourist attractions, including the church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos, the Benim's Museum, the Jorge Amado's Cultural Center and the SENAC.
